KING

  • Theater aan het Spui 187 Spui Den Haag, ZH, 2511 BN Netherlands (map)

KING is a powerful play that delves into the life of Luther, a man from Cork named after his Granny Bee Baw’s hero, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Luther leads a secluded life, only venturing out of his apartment for essential errands and to perform as an Elvis impersonator. Through this poignant narrative, KING explores deep themes of prejudice, privilege, and resilience as Luther grapples with the challenges of living life to the fullest.
